In recent years, the development of entrepreneurial competencies in higher education has become more of a real priority, driven by increasing labor market uncertainty, rapid digitalization, and the demand for more adaptable professional profiles. Existing literature has explored this phenomenon through active learning strategies, digital technologies, and different pedagogical approaches. However, these contributions remain largely fragmented, often addressing isolated dimensions without really offering an integrated understanding of how entrepreneurial competencies are actually formed. This research addresses this gap by proposing a conceptual integration of educational, communicative, and media-digital perspectives. A systematized documentary review was conducted following the methodological guidelines of Oates (2006) and Tranfield et al. (2003). This analysis was based on 13 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus, published in English and Spanish between 2008 and 2025. The review process included structured stages of search, selection, critical evaluation, and thematic synthesis. Findings reveal a predominant focus on active teaching strategies—such as experiential learning, problem-based learning, and collaborative work—supported by constructivist and humanistic approaches. However, the communicative dimension and media-digital literacy are frequently treated as implicit or secondary elements, limiting a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial learning process. As a result, the main contribution of this research is the proposal of a systemic conceptual model that articulates pedagogical, communicative, and digital dimensions as interdependent components. This model advances into an integrated approach to understand entrepreneurial competency development and offers a theoretical foundation for designing more coherent and integrative educational strategies in higher education.
