This research investigates the contribution of parents towards the promotions of inclusive education for pupils with intellectual disabilities in Saudi Arabian primary schools from the point of view of teachers. An interpretivist qualitative research design was adopted. Twenty-four teachers were interviewed. Thematic analysis revealed that the relationship between the parents and the schooling institutions significantly determines the success of inclusion where the quality of communication represents a prominent aspect. The research showed that poor communication such as the failure by parents to respond, rare visiting the schools, or failing to check up a home usually constrains the students’ advancement. Teachers reported issues such as incorrect phone numbers, poor attendance by the parents, and disinterest in non-academic courses that dilute teamwork between the home front and the school. But the teachers that kept in touch regularly also observed marked increments in the students’ participation and studies. The study also found mixed parental attitudes toward inclusion. Some parents supported it for social benefits, while others feared it might harm learning quality. The study concludes that strong communication, awareness, and active involvement of parents are essential for successful inclusion. Schools should train and involve parents more to build strong home–school partnerships that improve educational outcomes for students with learning disabilities.
