Professor Jean-Marc Dewaele does research on individual differences in psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic, pragmatic, psychological and emotional variables in SLA and Multilingualism, and has a global reputation in these fields, with particular renown in his interdisciplinary research between applied linguistics and psychology. In this interview with IAFOR Chairman, Joseph Haldane, Professor Dewaele will talk about his life in language and language learning, and the physical and intellectual journeys that have shaped his intellectual and career development.
